Design
All design work begins within the firm using CAD technology.
Die designs include those of linear and tubular dies, sheet dies, penne dies with direct-cut aeriation systems and some of the more diverse shapes. In addition, special tooling for die manufacturing operations have been designed and built in-house.
Each tool has been coded according to its corresponding insert shape in order to ensure maximum precision in shape replication, even many years later.
A great deal of attention is paid to the design of the insert, which is the primary component of the completed die. All Teflon inserts are armored with a bronze shell in order to improve strength and extend insert lifespan.
